Every recipe I post has tips and tricks to help you cook like a pro. I want you to think of cooking as fun, not a chore.
I have been working in the food service industry since I was 14 years old, and I can’t see myself doing anything else. I am also a graduate of The Culinary Institute of American and Penn State University. I worked as a culinary educator for over 16 years and I’m using that experience to help you. Currently, I am a merchant mariner, I cook on cargo ships and tankers. I have been doing this for a few years now and love the travel and flexibility of this unusual job. I can work where and when I want. In the short time I have been doing this job I have literally been around the world. Being away from home for long periods of time takes some getting used to but over all it’s well worth the effort.
